I consider myself a bit more than a hobbyist when it comes to herbal remedies. It is a complicated, yet interesting process. Buying or growing the herbs is a good stating point. Since herbs are very expensive and not always available I needed a solution where I could control the production of herbs and reduce costs.
I researched the internet and did a great deal of comparing price vs overall operating costs. The obvious, long term solution was LED Grow Lights. They are simple to use with variable adjustments and very little energy use. My herb production more than meets my needs and allows me to give herbs to my family and friends and still be able to have all the herbs I need for my remedies.
